Pre-Installation Checklist & Tips
- Flatten the Magnet: Because magnets are often shipped rolled, flattening them prevents air pockets and poor adhesion.
- Clean Surfaces: Dirt or small rocks between the magnet and car can scratch the paint. Clean both the car and the back of the magnet.
- Temperature Check: If it is cold, warm the surface of the car to ensure proper adhesion.
- Surface Compatibility: Ensure the area is flat metal (no plastic, aluminum, or severe curves).
- New Paint Rule: If the car was recently painted, wait 30-90 days for the paint to fully cure.
